The contractor worked at the Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) in Albany, GA, on repairs related to the impact of Hurricane Michael. The first Category 5 Hurricane to strike the mainland US in more than 25 years, Hurricane Michael hit the MCLB with gusts of 74 MPH and caused nearly $3 billion in estimated damages state-wide. Scope included replacing canopy structures, performing roof replacements and repairs, repairing HVAC and electrical systems, installing a new fire alarm system, abating hazardous materials, replacing fencing and various other architectural finishes repair tasks. In total, over 330 repair tasks across 80 individual facilities were completed at the Base.
