JFK International Airport Traffic Signing and Wayfinding
As part of the Redevelopment of John F. Kennedy International Airport, conceptual guide sign plans are being developed for guide and terminal directory signing in the Central Terminal Area (CTA), on-airport roadways, and off-airport inbound and outbound roadways. Sign locations and design for recovery routes and other on-airport areas, including Federal Circle.
Documented existing and proposed guide sign inventory using AutoCAD. Also identified sign removals including overhead sign structures (OSS) with panels and ground mounted signs.
Created preliminary guide sign designs using Gerber OMEGA and utilized the updated DraftPANYNJ Airport Signing Standards Design Guide.
Cost estimates are being developed for the different concept plans
