DSNY owns and operates a Marine Transfer Facility in Flushing, New York at 119-01 31st Avenue. Work at this facility included replacing the topping slab on both the tipping and loading floor using a high strength cementitious metallic topping, installing armor plates on push wall in loading floor and adding a fence on the loading floor. Work also included demolition work, concrete and reinforcement work, steel and welding work.
