Non-Acute Covid Alternate Care Facility (ACF) USVI

The contractor converted a military barracks in to “zones” to accommodate a Non-Acute COVID Alternate Care Facility (ACF) to include a Nurse Station, Medication Station, Nourishment Area, Showers, Hand Washing Stations, Toilets, Equipment Storage Room, Soiled Linen Storage, Soiled Utilities, Waste Room, Bio-Hazard Waste, Janitors Closet, Medical Gas Storage, Clean Linen Storage, and a Clean Utility Room. Once complete, it will support patient recovery areas for ambulatory Non-Acute COVID patients with semi-private beds segregated by temporary partitions, acting as a temporary satellite Ward fully supported by a nearby full-service hospital. Work will include Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installation and commissioning, interior finishes repair and installation, and fire protection and communication systems evaluation, installation, and commissioning.
