Long Island Railroad Interlocking Expansion - PMC

The project is a Design-Build for LIRR's Jamaica Queens, NY Capacity Improvements (JCI) Construction, Phase 2 program. The work includes a new two-track rail-bridge, track, turnouts and crossovers and, modifications to and/or reconstruction of the existing Atlantic Branch retaining and abutment walls flanking E-Yard. Additionally, there will be various utility infrastructure improvements and State of Good Repair (SOGR) work on the existing Atlantic Portal tunnel structure East of 150th Street, 150th Street undergrade bridges and structural modifications (bridge infills) to the Guy R. Brewer Boulevard Bridge along with structural modifications to support future track reconfigurations.
