NJ Route 537 Pedestrian Underpass

This project required construction administration and construction inspection during construction of a pedestrian underpass below County Route 537 with extension of the Union Transportation Trail from Monmouth County into Ocean County. Improvements included construction of the underpass with a precast box culvert, installation of retaining walls, bituminous roadway reconstruction, trail construction, new road signing and striping and the relocation of an underground gas line. Work required roadway lane closure with single lane traffic in each direction maintained.
